The first edition of Drugs, The Brain and Behavior was the best selling title for Haworth Medical Press when it was first published. The new Drugs, The Brain and Behavior: The Pharmacology of Drug Use Disorders, Second Edition (Routledge) is bigger, better and brighter! Each of the original chapters is updated and revised and, as the new subtitle suggests, reflect the direction, future definitions and diagnosis of addiction. In addition, all drug chapters now include a section on forensic considerations and four entirely new chapters (Inhalants, Nicotine, and Hallucinogens and Forensic Issues in Psychopharmacology) have been added.  

Although more advanced than the first edition, Drugs, The Brain and Behavior: The Pharmacology of Drug Use Disorders remains readable, well-referenced and became publicly available in the Fall of 2012.
